Golf in Memphis

For those times when not out exploring the rich Memphis blues scene or buying up Elvis memorabilia, the Memphis area has several golf courses for golf addicts who just can't stay away from the links. Many of Memphis' top courses are in the actual city, making it easy to sneak off to the green for a short session, or all day. Audubon Park Golf Course is a municipal course that has incredibly affordable green fees—less than $20. Though it might not be the most difficult course, this is a great place for beginners to practice. TPC at Southwind is a private Memphis golf course that hosts the PGA's annual Fed Ex St. Jude Classic. This nationally ranked course is listed by as one of Tennessee's top five courses. For an easier day of golf, try T.O. Fuller State Park Golf Course—it's a simple, 6,000 yard par-72 that is perfect for a leisurely day of golf.
