* Our experience and animal behavior certification has taught us that mental stimulation for dogs is just as important as physical stimulation. Therefore, in addition to the exercise we give your pets, we provide mental stimulation in the form of canine games and interactive puzzles.
WHAT WE DO FOR YOU
For those who are vacationing, we will provide the following services on a daily / bi-daily / tri-daily basis:
Feed and water your pets
Clean up any accidents we find
Clean litter boxes
Give potty breaks
Provide physical and mental stimulation for your pets
Administer some medications
Bring in your mail and newspaper
Open / Close your drapes and blinds
Turn on / off outdoor lights and alternate your indoor lights
Take your trash to the curb for pick-up.
MID-DAY PET CHECKS:
There is no need to rush home during your lunch hour to check on your furry friends. Let us do it for you! We provide daily potty breaks and exercise for individuals who simply need someone to offer mid-day checks on their pets while they are at work.
If you are not comfortable leaving your beloved pets alone overnight, no worries. Overnight visits are available! We usually arrive in your home between 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., and stay until the following morning, around 7:00 - 9:00 a.m. Our arrival and departure times will depend on our schedules for that day. Overnight visits are provided on a limited basis, based upon first-come/first-served availability.
We provide taxi services for your pet to and from various locations, such as your vet's office, groomer, or doggie daycare. All pets are secured in the vehicle using either a pet carrier or canine seat belts. Safety is our first priority when it comes to transporting your beloved four-legged family members.

The price for our in-home visits vary depending upon your location. Pricing starts at $15. The average price per visit is $15 - $18. For 1 - 3 pets. For each additional pet, add $2 per pet, per visit.
The price for the first overnight visit is $70. Each consecutive overnight visit is $60 per night.
The average price for our taxi service is about $17 one way, $35 round trip. Again, this depends on your location and the distance that will be traveled with your pet(s).

HOW DOES THIS PET SITTING THING WORK?
First, we meet with you and your pets. During this free consultation, you get to know us and we get to know you and your pets. If you feel that we are a good fit to care for you beloved, furry family members, we will then discuss what services you would like us to provide. We customize a pet sitting plan to fit your needs, and because our pricing is based upon a "Per Visit" basis, we can set up a plan that will fit every pocket book. During this initial consultation, we also discuss feeding and medication schedules, your veterinarian's contact info and other emergency contact info. This is also when we will need a key(s) to your home.
During our visits to your home, we will care for your pets and handle all the tasks previously discussed in our initial consultation. Some examples of these services include: Feed and water your pets, Clean up any accidents we find,Clean litter boxes, Give potty breaks, Provide physical and mental stimulation for your pets, Administer some medications, Bring in your mail and newspaper, Open / Close your drapes and blinds, Turn on / off outdoor lights and alternate your indoor lights,Water plants, and Take your trash to the curb for pick-up.
HOW LONG DOES A TYPICAL VISIT LAST?
A typical visit in your home will last from 45 minutes to 1 hour. However, due to possible time constraints, we can only guarantee a minimum of 30 minutes. Even so, you can rest assured that we prefer to spend the full hour with your pets. The well-being of your pets is our first priority. We want to make sure they are happy and satisfied; and therefore, hope to spend as much time with them as possible.
DO YOU WORK HOLIDAYS AND WEEKENDS?
We are happy to work both holidays and weekends. However, it is important to note that, because there are only two of us, our limited time slots fill up quickly. Most holiday visits are subject to an additional fee. This fee will vary, depending on the holiday. There is no additional fee for weekend visits.
DO YOU DO OVERNIGHT VISITS?
We do provide overnight visits on a first-come, first-served basis. For overnight visits, we usually arrive at your home between 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., and we leave between 6:00 - 9:00 a.m.
WHAT AREAS OF TOWN DO YOU SERVE?
We are happy to serve Arlington, Bartlett, Cordova, Collierville, East Memphis, Germantown, Lakeland, and Millington.
ARE YOU BONDED AND INSURED?
Yes. We are both bonded and insured.
WILL WE MEET YOU AHEAD OF TIME?
Yes. You will meet your pet sitter(s) in the initial free consultation. We guarantee that no one will come to your home that you have not met and approved.
HOW DO WE GET OUR KEY TO/FROM YOU?
A key is given to us during the free initial consultation, if you choose to use our services. For those going on vacation, we would prefer two keys, if possible. During the initial consultation, we will also discuss how you would like us to return your key(s). We discourage the leaving of keys hidden outside.
I'M GOING OUT-OF-TOWN. HOW MANY VISITS DO YOU RECOMMEND?
This depends on the number and types of pets that you have. For most cats, birds, hamsters, etc., one visit per day is all that is required. However, for indoor dogs, a minimum of 2 - 3 visits is typically needed.
DO YOU BOARD PETS?
We do not board pets. The pets stay in your home, where they are the most comfortable and content.
DOES IT MATTER HOW MANY PETS I HAVE?
The above pricing is based on 1-3 pets. If you have more pets, than longer visits may be required to make sure that each pet gets plenty of interaction and is well-taken care of. As such, additional fees may be added for homes that have more than 3 pets. Please give us a call to discuss pricing for services that will fit your needs.
IN WHAT TYPES OF PETS DO YOU SPECIALIZE?
While Knick Knack Patty Whack specializes in dog services, we are more than happy to offer sitting services for other types of pets, as well. Rates and services provided vary depending on the pet, so please feel free to contact us for more information. Examples of other pets we service: cats, birds, fish, horses, etc.
CAN YOU ADMINISTER MEDICATION TO MY PETS?
We are able to administer some medications. However, as we are not medical professionals, we are not comfortable administering medications in a syringe, such as insulin.
WHEN IS PAYMENT DUE?
Payment is due on or before the first visit.
DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS FOR MULTIPLE VISITS?
We do offer discounts for multiple overnight visits. The price for the first overnight visit is $70. For each consecutive night, the price is $60 per night.
DO YOU ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS / ONLINE PAYMENTS?
We do accept credit card / online payments via PayPal. It is not necessary for you to have a PayPal account. Please note that there is a 3% surcharge for this service. For example: If your initial fee is $15, your total bill will be $15.45 to include the 3% surcharge.
